R.energy Argentina invites the international wind energy industry. Clean energy, expo and congress

R.energy Expo Buenos Aires, October 22-24, 2008, invites the international industry of wind energy to fix the look in Argentina, celebrating a business and information meeting on the 22nd October in Buenos Aires. Argentina wants to generate 53 % of renewable energy aprox. in the year 2025 with the installation of windmills, reaching 2.000 MW. At this moment, Argentina has only installed 29,5 MW and assumes the number 40 in the world ranking of installed wind energy.

Argentina can turn nevertheless soon into the world number 1, because the country has 40 % more wind than any other country of the world (8 m. in second of average) and also has enough space for the installation of windmills, especially in the Patagonia, but also in other provinces, as Buenos Aires. Although Argentina has in projection several hundreds of Megawatts, it lacks at this moment of investments and technology and collaborations with international industries interested in positioning in Argentina to carry out projects of more importance.

The International Meeting of the Wind Energy Industry, foreseen for October 22 in Buenos Aires, tries to bring over the offer and the demand informally and directly.
Between long pauses to facilitate the meetings business, there are some but good presentations of global leaders, but also explanations for the international attendees about the current energetic Argentine situation, the present and the future of the wind energy in Argentina, the Argentine system of interconnection (SADI) and the insertion of wind power in the same one and a few reflections on the technical and legislative limitations, for example, and solutions for this issues.

The Meeting has the support of the Argentina Wind Energy Association and other 25 entities and associations.

The organization of R.energy Argentina is in hands of the Spanish company Survey Marketing & Consulting S.L. that belongs 100% to the German company (with the same name) specialized in the organization of exhibitions and events.
